Halloween events

On October 25th, Molly, Robert and I took a trip to the Boone Hall Plantation Pumpkin Patch! We had such a good time and Molly looked so cute among the pumpkins. We also went home to Savannah for Halloween weekend because we wanted to show off our little bumble bee to the family. It was a nice yet fast weekend. Below are a few pictures from the weekend.
Watch out or she will attack you with her...kisses!!!!

Molly Baptism!!

On September 6th, we celebrated Molly's Baptism in Savannah. The mass and Baptism was held at St. Peter the Apostle Church which was Robert's home town parish. Then we had a lovely reception at my parents house. Here are a few pictures from the day. Thank you to all who attended the mass, baptism and reception. We had a fantastic day celebrating our little Molly!

The Three B's!

Hey everyone! Here is a bit of an update on Ms. Molly pop! Two weeks ago, Molly started at Daycare. She is currently attending Gateway Academy, and mom and dad are really pleased. The first day was extremely hard letting her go because I had been with her for ten months straight. All day, every day! However, when I picked her up that afternoon and saw how happy and content she was, it made me feel so much better. She is thriving at daycare and all of her teachers just LOVE her. Ms. Carol says that Molly is "her baby" and she makes it appoint to come in the infant room, every day to hold her for a while. How cute is that?!

Another big step in Molly's life is that we introduced infant formula to her a few weeks ago. I have been nursing her but since starting back to teaching a week ago, Robert and I thought it would be best to give her formula while she is at daycare. So far so good!

Finally, guess who is SLEEPING through the night? That's right, five days in a row! Molly has been doing so well at night. We have gotten into a really nice routine these days. We call it the "Three B'S". Bath, Bottle, Bed!!! Usually she is in bed by 9:30pm and does not get up until 5:30pm. It's perfect because it allows me to get some zzzz since I have to be up at 5am for school. I started teaching at a Catholic School in Charleston and we start at 7:30am. It has been so nice not having to get up anymore in the middle of the night for a feeding. LOVE my little girl! :)

Alright, pictures to come soon. We had a few minor issues with the camera two weeks ago. We took Molly to the pool and the camera fell into the water. It some how, slipped out of Robert's hands and next thing I knew, I saw it sinking to the bottom. Ugh!! We were both sick over it because it was a pre Mother's Day gift for me, before Molly was born. Thank God we were able to save the pictures that were on it. We are having to looked at and should get it back soon.

Molly is 2 months old!!!

Here is Molly's 2 month shots! If you haven't read earlier blogs, I have decided to take pictures of each month during her first year. I thought it would be great to bring them all together when she turns 1 and see the differences!

She definitely favors Robert. Except for those beautiful blues! ;)

2 month check up

Just a quick update. Molly went for her two month check-up today and did great! She was scheduled to have three shots today so I didn't know how that would all pan out. However, when the doctor gave her the shots, she was awesome. She cried for a minute tops and then fell right to sleep. I was so proud of my brave little girl! Here statics are as follows:

Weight: 10lbs, 3 ozs. (17%) range
Height: 22 inches ( 17%) range
Head: 14.75 (7 %) range
BMI: 14.8

Because she is so tall, she is considered under average but the doctor said it is nothing to worry about. He said she is so healthy and thriving! Plus, I do have to brag...when we went to see my OBGYN, so he could see Molly, he asked me if "Gerber" was knocking down the door for her to be the next poster child. I got a kick out of that. All I have to say is, "a star is born"! HA! ;)

Andrea's Baby shower weekend!

The weekend of July 18th was my friend Andrea's baby shower, in Atlanta. She is scheduled to have a baby boy named Seth Asher Gossett in September. Not too far way...Yeah! Kate was in town that week so Robert, Kate, mom, dad, Molly and I all carpooled to the ATL for the weekend. It was a nice trip and we were able to meet up with some good friends of ours from college. Below are some pictures of that event.

Here is a shot of Andrea with her sister Danielle in the nursery. Danielle designed the entire room to look like "Doctor Suess". It was really cute!!!
Here are all the VSU gals at the shower. Maggie, Andie, Amy, Kate and Lindsey. Go Blazers!

Cuddly Baby

I thought she looked so cute after we got her out of the bath, that I HAD to take some pictures.

Here she is falling asleep from a long day of playing under her activity mat.

She is dreaming!

Seven Weeks old!

It has been about seven weeks since my last post. Sorry Folks, been a bit busy with the wee little one. Well, she is not so little anymore! At birth, Molly weighed 6lbs, 4oz and she is now weighing in at a whopping 8lbs, 9oz. She just turned seven weeks yesterday. I can't believe where the time has gone. Seriously, it is going by too fast! I can't snap enough pictures these days. Molly is such a good baby and has a great personality already. She is now starting to smile so much more and really exploring her surroundings. We bought her an activity mat and she really enjoys playing under it. Also, she has been sleeping better. Of course, she has her late nights, but we haven't had an "all nighter" since her second week. Below are pictures from the last few weeks. I will try to post more frequently from now on.

We went to Savannah a few weeks ago when Matt, Liza, Mal and Matthew were in town.

THE "M" SQUAD!

I took these 1 month shots and will continue to take monthly shots until she is 1 years old. I got this great idea from a friend of mine who did the same thing. Thanks Jennifer!

Molly and I came in town this past weekend for a visit because Aunt "KK" Kate was in town from L.A. She hadn't seen Molly yet and came in for the week. Here we all are at the Olive Garden celebrating our birthdays. Happy Birthday Mom, Jimmy, Kate, Michelle (Kate's roommate in Cali.) and me!

New Arrival! May baby, not June!!!!

Well, alot has happened since we last spoke! On Thursday, May 28th, 2009 we were blessed with the arrival of Molly Elizabeth Santiago. She came a week early and weighed in at 6lbs 4oz and is 19 1/2 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful and we are so excited to have her in our lives. Below are a few of the many many photos we have snapped of her so far. Robert and I are loading all our photos to Snap Fish soon so you can view more.
